My Top 3 Priorities

  • I am running for Assembly District 72 to represent the underserved and bring back the middle class in California. We need real economic reform that includes jobs with a living wage; closing the gender gap; and ending income inequality.
  • Support a progressive platform by opposing reckless fracking, TPP, and use of chokehold as nonlethal force by police officers while supporting military families, elderly/disabled, clean air/water, labeling GMO food products, and privacy rights.
  • It is more expensive to be poor and we need to change that by changing who/how/what we tax, getting money out of politics, giving the people back equal and full access to the courts, and restoring power to all people.

When Wall Street was rapidly displacing an entire socioeconomic class five years ago, Lenore Albert blocked 1,000 foreclosure sales in 2011. After it came to light that the California State Bar spent millions of dollars purchasing a new building in Los Angeles in 2012 with members funds she fought for justice and risked her own license when she discovered the State Bar had been acting as a debt collector against other attorneys to generate income.

As a small business owner and consumer attorney for 15 years, Lenore Albert  fought for equal access to the courts to protect the rights of individuals and small businesses while caring for her disabled mother (now deceased) and standing up to corruption that risked her license. Previously, she was a financial analyst/economic forecaster.

She was educated to change laws and create public policy/economic models with her bachelors in economics from CSULB, and juris doctorate from UOP/McGeorge. Lenore helped to create protection for homeowners by appealing homeowner losses and winning those appeals like: Lueras v BAC Home Loans, LLP; Galope v Deutsche Bank Natl Trust Co; Yau v Deutsche Bank Natl Trust Co; and Majd v Bank of America.

Lenore Albert actively opposed the TPP, reckless fracking, and use of chokehold as nonlethal force by police officers. Lenore has also supported military families, clean air/water, labeling GMO food products, privacy rights, and a living wage.

She wrote five (5) resolutions for inclusion in the California Democratic Party which were passed in 2015. Those resolutions were for the party's acknowledgment that we need to ensure our water is protected; our elderly and disabled are protected; our homeowners are protected; and our small business owners are protected.

Vote for a neoteric workhorse that has advocated passage of many consumer rights bills with CAOC in Sacramento and with NACA nationally. Let’s shatter those economic barriers facing the 99%.
