I have been married to my wife Michele for over 45 years , we have 5 children, 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. We have raised all of our children in Rosamond and I have been a volunteer serving this community for 25 of the 27 years that I have lived here. In the past, I have served 15 years as a former Director for the Rosamond Community Services District, from 1997 to 2008 and 2010 to 2014. I am currently serving on the Rosamond Municipal advisory Council as Board Chairman being apointed by the Kern County Board of Supervisors in March 2016. During my time as a member of the Rosamond Community Services District Board of Directors I served several terms as Board President.
I recently retired from the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts in 2016 after 37 years of service, I was the Maintennace Supervisor in charge of maintenance for 2 sewage treatment/water reclamation plants in Palmdale and Lancaster, the entire sewer system in the Antelope Valley and Santa Clarita Valley, 2 recycled water storage and distribution facilities in Palmdale and Lancaster, the infrstructure and pumping facilities for 2 large agricultural sites in Palmdale and Lancaster, Piute Ponds a federally protected bird habitat and marshland and a fleet of over 115 vehicles and pieces of equipment.
