Mis 3 prioridades principales
- FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY. I pledge to be fiscally responsible, balance the budget on time, maintain a healthy reserve and implement strategies to prevent a fiscal crisis. The State will take away millions of dollars from Rio Hondo for poor performance.
- TRANSFER TO UNIVERSITIES IS LOW.I'm dedicated to increasing the transfer rate at Rio Hondo. Rio Hondo has the lowest transfer rate among neighboring colleges, according to the State Chancellor’s Office of California Community Colleges.
- SERVING WORKING PEOPLE. I am committed to restoring our commitment to working people by increasing course offerings in the evening and creating a weekend accelerated program. Currently, only 17% of total classes are offered in the evening.
