This district is my home. I am a future father in this district and a former PAUSD student. In my day job, I am a litigator; I have also been involved in educational governance--first as the president of my law school's Student Bar Association, and then, as an attorney, when I was appointed by our Supreme Court to a committee tasked with re-evaulation the California Bar Exam. I see in this district a real need for professional governance, legal compliance, and fiscal management, so that we can actually execute on our priorites and turn our good ideas into realities for the students and families we serve. I have the skills and the background--both the professional experience and the lived experience within this district--to make that happen.
My wife (who also grew up in this district) and I are in a unique position. We find ourselves with the district's schools behind us but also in front of us. This is position that compels me to do everything I can to ensure that all our schools offer the best opportunities for success to their students, including my future children.
