Filosofía política

I believe there are many unmet health care needs in our country and our county.  The Sequoia Healthcare District which receives funding through property taxes in the district is fully authorized by legislation to use those funds to improve the health of our community.  In my view these funds should be focused on improving health of our residents by identifying the many holes in the local and national system.  The opportunities are many and range from school nurses to CPR classes and everything in between.  To make a difference we must look for those opportunities and ensure that those tax dollars are spent on effective programs by carefully evaluating our grantees on a continuous basis.
