Mis 3 prioridades principales

  • RECLAIM our neighborhood streets - I will prioritize local infrastructure projects that make our streets comfortable and safe for people of all ages to get around our community.
  • TACKLE our jobs/housing imbalance - I will promote smarter housing development near transportation and jobs, and work to prevent displacement of our neighbors. Menlo Park should be a vibrant, livable community, not an office park.
  • FOCUS on community benefits - I will put our residents first. I will ensure that as we grow our quality of life is maintained via excellent schools, safe streets, the downtown vibe, quality infrastructure, housing, parks, and neighborhood character.

Filosofía política

I moved to Menlo Park with my husband over 30 years ago because this place felt like home. To this day, taking a stroll down Santa Cruz Avenue reminds me how fortunate we are to live in a town whose values echo ours. Our kids learned to ride their bikes on these streets. Our dry cleaner is not just a place to drop off clothes, but has become a friend. Over the years we have cherished the Menlo Park schools, youth soccer and the countless activities that connect us to our community.

Menlo Park is growing, and I know that growth if managed wisely can create opportunity. We need a City Council with leaders who will fight to maintain Menlo Park values, while tackling the economic and cultural realities of our increasing growth. I believe we can turn our challenges into opportunities for a better, safer, more diverse and inclusive Menlo Park community.

A vote for me is a vote for the residents of Menlo Park.
