Filosofía política

"As a lifelong Millbrae resident, I feel blessed to have been shaped by a caring and nourishing community. I want to make sure it stays that way for many generations to come as my wife Amy and I start a family here

I was elected to the Millbrae City Council in 2013 and served as Mayor last year. My vision has been to position Millbrae as a competitive economic center while maintaining our small-town feel and quality of life. Redevelopment near the transit center is key to attracting businesses, but it must be done responsibly. I negotiated with developers to ensure that upcoming projects benefit Millbrae residents, providing critical revenues to strengthen public safety services and modernize our infrastructure.

Tragically, the Recreation Center was destroyed by fire. I have gathered great suggestions from residents to create a center that will be a vibrant hub for the community. The City is assembling the funding package needed to build a modern center, restoring youth and senior programs. The new Recreation Center will also function as an emergency operations center in case of a disaster. My goal is to break ground by next year.

I earned a Master's Degree in Public Policy from University of California, Berkeley and work as a Budget Analyst for the City and County of San Francisco. I use that analytical lens to ensure efficient use of tax dollars and prevent wasteful spending. I would like to continue working hard to preserve Millbrae as a great place to live. I respectfully ask for your vote this November."
