Vote for Change.

We can choose to change our path towards unity and civility.  We can choose collaboration, inclusiveness, and respect. We can do amazing things TOGETHER.  Within an environment where differing opinions can be openly discussed without fear of name calling and ridicule, we can bring out the best in each other to creatively address the challenges we are facing as a community.

I believe my life experiences and commitment to ethics, civility, and collaboration make me the best candidate to overcome our challenges with development, education, and traffic while fostering a community centric environment for our residents and small businesses.

When people ask me what I do for a living, my answer is based on who I am. I am a father, a husband, a brother, a son, a friend, and a businessman.

My parents raised me in Foster City with Foster City values oriented towards family and community. As an All-League athlete in multiple sports at Burlingame High School and an athlete in college, I learned about the importance of leadership and teamwork from a very young age.

During summers while at college, I worked for the City of Daly City in Parks and Recreation, Public Works, and Water/Wastewater.

I earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from UC Davis and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

I grew to Senior Management through a series of promotions at Xilinx over a 15 year career. My professional experiences have enabled me to work across our country and around the world which has exposed me to multiple cultures for extended periods of time.

Today, as a Managing Partner and Chief Marketing Officer at Building Kidz Worldwide located in Foster City, I am doing my part to enhance early childhood education and create jobs for hard working teachers across our country. I am a Board Member and coach for Little League and I coach for AYSO.

Filosofía política

Collaboration and cooperation require civility to exist. A unified community does not always have to agree, but a unified community always maintains a high level of civility. I believe we are in a time when we must insist upon civil and respectful interaction; we must be role models for our children.

As servants to the community, the Council must play an instrumental role in creating an atmosphere of civility.  Residents must believe the Council is there to serve the community at large.

If elected, I promise to help us solve our challenges in an environment that:

·         Improves the level of citizen participation with our Council and City Government.

·         Creates a City Council meeting environment in which citizens feel more comfortable addressing the Council.

·         Improves our relationship and cooperation with our School Districts and other external jurisdictions.

I will:

·         Contribute to a better sense of order and civility during Council meetings by following Robert’s Rules of Order, the parliamentary framework the Council has adopted.

·         Introduce a Council Code of Conduct which I will be asking my colleagues to pass unanimously.

I have voluntarily signed the Code of Fair Campaign Conduct.  The Code sets forth basic principles of decency, honesty, and fair play, which every candidate for public office has a moral obligation to observe and uphold.

It is within this framework that we can effectively focus on the issues identified in my platform.
