Profesión:Planning Commissioner-Chair/ Community Volunteer
Chair, Planning Commission, City of Daly City Planning Commission — Cargo designado (2017–current)

I was raised in a family where my father was a firefighter and my mother was a homemaker. The importance of community/civic involvement and public safety/service was part of our daily lives. My upbringing shaped who I am. For over 12 years, I have proudly called Daly City my home.

Currently I serve as Chair of Daly City’s Planning Commission and as an appointed member of the Jefferson Elementary School District Citizens Oversight Committee. My experience includes being a former business owner with knowledge of finances, balancing budgets, and contract negotiations. I have collaborated with elected officials at all levels, including on policymaking and helping veterans, seniors, and orphans obtain needed services.

As your Councilmember, I will fight for public safety, by restoring Engine 95 and Fire and Police. I will advocate for a sustainable long-term budget, create economic growth, and spearhead efforts to support, retain, and attract local businesses. We need to ensure Seton Medical Center stays open for our community. I will also partner with our local schools, protect our environment, increase affordable housing, and enhance programs for veterans, senior, and youth.

I respectfully ask for your vote on November 6, 2018.
