I am a business executive and community advocate. I hold advanced degrees in law and organization development. While this experience may guide me as a Council Member, it is not the most important. What matters most is that I am a long-time committed resident. I will put the people who live in our community first.

Del Rey Oaks is progressing towards financial viability. I will work with you and our city leaders to create a sustainable plan for our future.
I want our community to be part of that plan. I am committed to keeping you informed about what is happening and why. I will ask myself and you, “Will it benefit our residents, businesses and visitors to our community?” My decision-making will be clear, open, and inclusive.
I know you care about the future of Del Rey Oaks. Let’s shape that future together. Thank you for taking the first step with your vote.

My political philosophy is to provide for our citizens a safe and plesant city given the resources that we have and when revenues become available to re-invest those monies back into the city for not only our citizens, but the general public sho come to or through our city.

During the last four years I supported several issues that will provide needed revenue for the city, Monterey Bay Alternative Medicine, Del Rey Oaks Garden Supplies, and Monarch Recreational Vehicle Park.
I believe in fiscal restraint and being held accountable. I retired from the Monterey Fire Department. My community service includes coordinating the Shoreline Church Food Pantry providing food and clothing for individuals in need.
With the aid of citizen’s committees we identify problems like traffic and safety on Highway 218 and the continuing development of the former Fort Ord property to find the best solution for our city.
