Preguntas y Respuestas

Preguntas de League of Women Voters of California Education Fund (1)

A recent law made major changes in the way that the state allocates funding to schools.  What will you do to ensure that the public understands your local control formula for school spending and your plan to measure outcomes?
Respuesta de Bill Adams:

Since the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) and Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) process was adopted State-wide, I have helped lead the District efforts as part of the Windsor Unified School District LCAP steering committee, both before and after my service as a Board Trustee.  I believe that it is essential to have authentic community participation, transparency and measurable indicators for success in order for local school funding to work.  I am proud to report that we are doing this in the Windsor Unified School District.
