One of my favorite things to do is teach students the importance of giving back to the community. I am currently teaching students to sew, and we make quilts, or knit slippers and give them to homeless shelters and orginazitions like the Vietnam Vets.

An overview of what has transpired during my work as a board member.

It has been four years since you have put your trust in me, and I have been ready to make the changes we have needed for our students to be the best they can be.  This year our district made some of the biggest advancements in our county as well as the state for our students.  We have also, added pre schools and pre kindergartens to our schools as well as adding our first dual immersion school in which we have students from other districts coming to.

In the best interest of our students we are now serving fresh, healthy foods to all of our schools, with three of them cooking on site.  A forth school will be following in the next year

We now have spring and summer intersession for all students who need it. Para professionals  to all class's for reading advancement.  As well as a K thru 12 school, working with the junior college and Sonoma State.  P.E classes for all grades, choirs, and computers.m we have a one to one computer per student in upper grades and even our kindergartens are equipped with computes.

Our campuses are all up graded for a safe and enjoyable learning experience.

Our pay scales are now competitive to bring in and keep the best teachers.

Lets stay the course.  Vote for Sharon Ligon as school board member.

Thank you
